Founded in 1982 Gaston Dance, Inc. is the non-profit governing body for The School of Gaston Dance Theatre and The Theatre of Gaston Dance. It is a regional dance company which was founded to serve a cultural need in the community by creating and/or presenting a repertoire of classical and contemporary dance works.

Our studios are housed at Unity Place – home of St. Stephen’s AME Zion Church and the United Arts Council.
Gaston Dance offers air-conditioned studios with suspended wooden floors, barres, mirrors and viewing windows for class observation. There are no costume or competition fees. Gaston Dance offers a professional curriculum for ballet, jazz, tap, modern and Pilates.
