Dress Code
All dancers should enter and exit the building in street attire. Dancewear may be worn underneath but should completely be covered. Dancers are only allowed to change clothes in the dressing rooms. Dance shoes should never be worn outside of the studio; this shortens the life of the shoe and brings dirt into the studio.
No jewelry or hair ornamentation is allowed in class.
Ladies
Creative Movement
- Solid color leotard
- Pink footless tights
- Bare feet
- Hair must be secured away from the face.
Kinderdance
- White leotard
- Pink footed tights
- Pink snug-fitting ballet slippers of soft leather
- Tap shoes (black, tan or pink)
- Hair must be secured away from the face.
Introductory Ballet–Company Level
- Assigned color leotard (see chart below)
- Pink seamed tights
- Pink snug-fitting leather or canvas ballet slippers (Level II and up should have split-sole ballet slippers.)
- Short, wrapped skirts may be worn in Advanced Pointe class only but not in technique.
- Hair must be in a proper bun secured with a bun cover/net and bobby pins.
Modern
- Black leotard with black footless tights (or black unitard)
- Bare feet
- Hair must be pulled up/back and secured away from the face.
Jazz
- Solid color leotard
- Black footed tights
- Black jazz shoes
- Hair must be pulled up/back and secured away from the face.
Tap
- Solid color leotard
- Black footed tights
- Black tap shoes (No “jingle” or “staccato” taps)
- Hair must be pulled up/back and secured away from the face.
Gentlemen
Creative Dance
- White snug-fitting t-shirt
- Black snug-fitting athletic shorts or sweatpants
- Bare feet
Kinderdance
- White snug-fitting t-shirt
- Black snug-fitting athletic shorts or sweatpants
- White turn-cuff socks
- Black ballet slippers

Rules
- No gum or candy!
- No food or drink in the dressing rooms or dance class.
- PLAIN water in a closed container is allowed in dance class
- Food and drink are allowed ONLY in the common area (area with tables directly outside of the office).
- Please clean up after yourself and/or your child!
- If your child needs to wait for a ride, we insist that students wait inside the dance studio for safety reasons, as we are not able to control situations which occur outside of our business doors.
