A limited number of scholarships are available for financially disadvantaged students with and without dance experience.  Application packets and more information are available from Gaston Dance Theatre, 704-865-5943, gastondance@gastonarts.org.

Completed packets are due to Gaston Dance Theatre by July 15, 2012.  Packets must include:
•  Completed Scholarship Application
•  Family Financial Statement
•  Copy of student's last report card
•  Letter of Recommendation from:  school teacher, guidance counselor, or staff member of area youth organization including churches.  Letter must be on official organization letterhead.

Applicants for Male Dancer scholarships are not required to provide a financial statement.

Applicants will be contacted by phone to schedule an interview with the Applicant and a responsible adult.  Scholarships will be awarded and recipients notified by August 6, 2012.
